Prevnar 13 is an older pneumococcal conjugate vaccine against 13 types of the bacteria behind pneumonia, meningitis and ear infections. Newer vaccines with more types (Vaxneuvance, Prevnar 20 and Capvaxive) have largely replaced it, but some hospitals still list it.
