How it works
- Ask the hospital for an itemized bill with a CPT or HCPCS code on every line (a letter for that).
- Find the hospital above and paste the lines of the bill.
- Each code is compared with the hospital's own published cash price, the state median and Medicare. Lines above the cash price go into a letter you can copy.
The hospital's prices come with the page, and the comparison runs in your browser. What you paste is not sent to SelfPayRates or anyone else, and the page carries no ads.
