List your clinic's cash prices — free
SelfPayRates shows people without insurance what hospitals in their area charge in cash, procedure by procedure. Independent imaging centers, surgery centers and urgent care clinics often charge much less, but they are not in hospital price files. If your clinic sells to self-pay patients, we list your cash prices next to the hospitals in your area, free of charge.
What you get
- A page for your clinic with your cash prices, address, phone and website, each price compared with the median hospital cash price for the same code in your metro area and state.
- Your price on the procedure page for your area, in a section “Independent clinics” right below the hospital table — where people comparing prices already are.
- No fee, no contract. We do not charge per patient, lead, call or booking, and never will: paying for patient referrals is prohibited by federal law.
How clinic prices are shown
- Separately from hospital prices and labeled as coming from the clinic, with a link to your own price page and the date we checked it.
- Never mixed into the hospital median, the “lowest price” or any hospital ranking.
- Clinics are sorted by price. Nobody can pay for a higher place.
What to send
Email [email protected], preferably from an address at your clinic's domain, with:
- Clinic name, street address, phone and website.
- Your organization NPI.
- Each procedure with its CPT or HCPCS code and the cash price a self-pay patient pays.
- What each price includes — for imaging, whether the radiologist's reading is included.
- The page on your website where the prices are published, if there is one.
How we check
We match your NPI, name and address in the federal NPI registry and compare the prices with your website or your email domain before publishing. We recheck listed prices and show the date of the last check. Prices that we cannot confirm are not published.
Who we list
Imaging centers, ambulatory surgery centers, urgent care clinics, primary care practices with posted cash prices and dental offices in the United States. We do not list laboratories.
Changes and removal
Send new prices or ask us to remove your listing at the same address; we usually update within a few days.
