RSV antibody shot (100 mg dose) cost in Maryland
In Maryland, 8 hospitals publish a cash price for RSV antibody shot for infants and toddlers, larger dose (1 mL, 100 mg): from $667.86 to $1,927.37, with a median of $1,274.49. The lowest price is at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center (Baltimore). The highest price is 2.9× the lowest.
Why Maryland prices look low: Maryland is the only state where a commission (the HSCRC) sets hospital rates for every payer, so its hospitals publish prices far below the rest of the country. A separate physician fee may still apply.

What it is
This is the larger dose (100 mg) of nirsevimab (Beyfortus), an antibody shot that protects infants from severe RSV. Babies weighing 5 kg (11 lb) or more in their first RSV season get this dose, and high-risk toddlers get two of them in their second season.
What the price covers
The price is for the vaccine dose. Giving the shot is usually a separate line (code 90471 for the first vaccine of the visit, 90472 for each additional one).
