Cash or insurance?

If you have insurance but have not met your deductible, you usually pay your plan's negotiated rate, which falls somewhere in the "Insurers pay" column. An IV push is a medicine given quickly through an IV line by a nurse, such as an anti-nausea drug or pain medicine in the emergency department. The code covers giving the medicine, not the drug itself.
