Cash or insurance?

If you have insurance but have not met your deductible, you usually pay your plan's negotiated rate, which falls somewhere in the "Insurers pay" column. What it is
An EEG records the brain's electrical activity through small sensors on the scalp. It is used for seizures, fainting spells and some other brain problems.
What the price covers
The price usually covers the recording, which takes about 20 to 40 minutes plus setup. The neurologist's reading may be billed separately.
