Cash or insurance?

If you have insurance but have not met your deductible, you usually pay your plan's negotiated rate, which falls somewhere in the "Insurers pay" column. What it is
A venous duplex ultrasound checks the veins of one arm or leg for blood clots (deep vein thrombosis) and blood flow problems. It is ordered for leg swelling or pain, and to check veins before vein treatment.
What the price covers
The hospital price usually covers the study of one limb or a limited study. The interpretation by a radiologist or vascular specialist is often billed separately.
