What it is
This test looks for the genetic material of Neisseria gonorrhoeae using a nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT). It is run on a urine sample or a swab, often from the same sample as a chlamydia test, and is used for screening and when there are symptoms.
What the price covers
The price usually covers the gonorrhea test only. The visit, the sample collection and a chlamydia test on the same sample (87491) are usually billed separately.
