What it is
A two-view abdominal X-ray takes pictures of the belly lying down and standing or on the side. It is used to look for a bowel blockage, trapped air, constipation or a swallowed object.
What the price covers
The hospital price usually covers taking the X-ray. The radiologist's reading is often billed separately.
