If you have insurance but have not met your deductible, you usually pay your plan's negotiated rate, which falls somewhere in the "Insurers pay" column. What it is
A foot X-ray takes pictures of the bones of one foot from at least three angles. It is ordered after an injury to look for a fracture, and for pain, swelling, arthritis or bone spurs.
What the price covers
The hospital price usually covers taking the images of one foot. The radiologist's reading is often billed separately.
