What it is
A pelvic CT without contrast makes cross-section pictures of the pelvic bones and organs without dye. It is used for hip and pelvis fractures, kidney or bladder stones low in the urinary tract, and for people who cannot receive contrast.
What the price covers
The hospital price usually covers the scan and any contrast dye. The radiologist's reading is often billed separately.
