What it is
A sinus X-ray takes three or more pictures of the air-filled spaces in the face. It can show fluid or thickening, but a sinus CT (70486) gives far more detail and is the usual test before sinus surgery.
What the price covers
The hospital price usually covers taking the X-ray. The radiologist's reading is often billed separately.
