Cash or insurance?

If you have insurance but have not met your deductible, you usually pay your plan's negotiated rate, which falls somewhere in the "Insurers pay" column. A short arm splint holds the wrist and forearm still after a fracture, sprain or surgery. It is often put on in an emergency department or urgent care clinic.
What the price covers
The price is for applying the splint. The visit, X-rays and sometimes the splint supplies are billed separately.
