Cash or insurance?

What it is
The high-dose flu shot contains four times the antigen of a standard shot, which gives older adults a stronger immune response. It is one of three flu vaccines the CDC prefers for people 65 and older.
What the price covers
The price is for the vaccine dose. Giving the shot is usually a separate line (code 90471 for the first vaccine of the visit); Medicare bills use G0008 instead.
