Cash or insurance?

What it is
This blood test measures the level of vitamin B12, which the body needs for red blood cells and nerves. It is ordered to look into anemia, numbness or tingling, memory problems, or conditions and medicines that lower B12 absorption.
What the price covers
The price usually covers the B12 test only. The blood draw is often billed separately, and folate (82746) or follow-up tests are separate codes.
