What it is
A knee X-ray with three views takes pictures of the knee from different angles to show the bones, joint space and signs of arthritis or fracture. It is often the first imaging test for knee pain or injury, before any MRI.
What the price covers
The hospital price usually covers taking the X-ray of one knee. The radiologist's reading is often billed separately.
