Cash or insurance?

If you have insurance but have not met your deductible, you usually pay your plan's negotiated rate, which falls somewhere in the "Insurers pay" column. What it is
A chest X-ray with two views, usually one from the front and one from the side, shows the lungs, heart size and the bones of the chest. It is ordered for cough, shortness of breath, suspected pneumonia, chest pain and some pre-employment or pre-surgery checks.
What the price covers
The hospital price usually covers taking the X-ray. The radiologist's reading is often billed separately.
