Cash or insurance?

What it is
A CT of the face (maxillofacial area) makes detailed cross-section pictures of the sinuses, facial bones and eye sockets. It is most often ordered for long-lasting sinus problems, before sinus surgery, or after a facial injury. No contrast dye is used.
What the price covers
The hospital price usually covers the scan. The radiologist's reading is often billed separately.
