Cash or insurance?

What it is
A hysteroscopy passes a thin camera through the cervix to look inside the uterus; in this version the doctor also takes a sample of the lining and/or removes polyps. It is used to investigate abnormal bleeding or findings on an ultrasound.
What the price covers
The facility price covers the procedure room and recovery. The gynecologist, anesthesia and the pathology exam of the tissue are usually billed separately.
