What it is
Arthroscopic rotator cuff repair reattaches torn shoulder tendons to the bone using a small camera, instruments and anchors through small cuts. It is done for tears that cause pain or weakness and do not improve with other treatment.
What the price covers
The facility price usually covers the operating room, recovery and often the anchors. The surgeon, anesthesia (often with a nerve block) and physical therapy are billed separately, and other work in the same surgery, such as bone shaving (29826), adds codes.
